Notes and Pitches

I have made remarkable headway in the research department. Meeting with an Urologist in January. Should prove interesting. So happy to be writing this, as it has been floating around in my brain for years. I'm hoping to grab some authors and do little interviews with them. On that note, I'll keep you posted and I'm over and out.

wacky, comedic mystery that canters around a unique topic, the story begins with a man in his late 30’s about to have a circumcision.  Pre-op questions by nurses and medical staff establish the madcap style of the novella. After the procedure, our hero awakens in the recovery room only to learn from a tearful nurse that one of the doctors died during surgery. It later turns out to be murder. With the help of his wife, he goes about solving the crime, but encounters weird and off-the-wall situations in the process.

Truth is stranger than fiction.

Postage Stamp

Welcome to my new blog, exclusively dedicated to writing.  While a die-hard mystery lover, I have found myself slowly scraping my way into the paranormal as well.

I think I'm onto an original idea, one that possibly never been used before (and give me a shout-out if it has): an adult male's circumcision procedure that goes wrong.  Not Hedwig and the Angry Inch wrong, but one of the hospital team are found dead... murdered?

Follow me on my journey in writing this novella.  I have enticed a couple of Toronto's top urologists specializing in men's health to explain the medical processes, as well as any medical jargon I might need (anf of course there's Mr Google)  Also hoping that by interviewing various authors I will gain from their experiences, both good and bad.

My goal is to be able to submit a polished draft by mid-March, so I have to shake a tail feather.  Follow the process, be a cheerleader, or a critic.  All feedback is welcomed.

As the Cat Stevens and Sheryl Crow tune goes, The first cut is the deepest.  The working title: "Left A Little Behind".
